Q What is my rental cellular phone number?
A The number will begin with the Japan area prefix 090 or 080.
Q Can I use voice mail or call forwarding?
A These features are not available.
Q Does the rental cellular phone have an email function?
A This feature is not available.
Q In what language is the rental cellular phone user’s manual?
A The user’s manual is available both in Japanese and English.
Q Where do I pick up my rental cellular phone?
A Rental cellular phones may be picked up at one of our airport service counters or be delivered* to your home.
* Home delivery is available only in Japan.
Q Are there any compensation service if the rental cellular phone is stolen or lost?
A DoCoMo Sentsu provides compensation services option to cover damage or loss in the event that a rental cellular phone is stolen, lost, or damaged during the rental period. In the event that a cellular phone which is not covered by the compensation service is stolen, lost, or damaged during the rental period, the user will be billed the total cost of the unit or accessory. For cellular phones which is covered by the compensation service as well, the user bears either the compensation costs or exempted amounts, whichever is less. Q Is my phone number identified to the phone that I am calling?
A The initial setting blocks calling number identification. To identify your phone number to a number called within Japan, enter "186" and then enter the number you want to call. The caller identification function cannot be used when calling a number outside Japan.

Charges and billing
Q How do I make a payment?
A All payments are made by one of the credit card brands accepted by DoCoMo Sentsu. Partial payments as well as cash and invoice payment are not accepted.
Q How are charges calculated and billed?
A By totaling the rental unit’s time count. Calling charges are calculated by multiplying the minutes accumulated in the cellular phone’s timer (seconds rounded up to a full minute) by the calling rate. We are unable to answer any questions concerning calling details made with the rental cellular phone.
Q Can an itemized statement be issued?
A No, we cannot issue an itemized statement.
Q Can a receipt be issued
A We can issue receipts to customers who prefer them. Please ask our staff at the return counter when you return your rental item.

Q How do I call a rental cellular phone from inside Japan?
A Dial the rental cellular phone number the usual way, starting with the 090 or 080 prefix.
Q How do I call a rental cellular phone from overseas?
A Start with the international access number followed by Japan’s country code number 81, and then enter the rental cellular phone number excluding the “0” at the beginning.
Q When dialing with a rental cellular phone?
A Dial the rental cellular phone number the usual way, starting with the 090 or 080 prefix.
Q What to do if a rental cellular phone is lost or stolen phones?
A Contact a World Cellular Phone Rental Center as soon as possible to have service suspended. The user will bear any communications charges incurred before service is suspended. In the event that a cellular phone unit or accessory is lost, damaged, or stolen during the rental period, the user will bear the full replacement cost except to the extent that their rental cellular phone is covered by compensation services.
